Cancellation Policy
Among Puffins Counselling has a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice via email, to cancel a session.
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the booked session fee, as appointment times are reserved especially for you.
I understand that illness and emergencies can happen. If you wake up unwell on the day of your session or need to cancel last minute due to an emergency, 2 x late cancellations per 12-month period are offered without charge. Cancellation fees will also be waived if the session is rescheduled within 7 days.
I will always check with you if you’d like to use one of your free cancellations or rebook to avoid a fee before applying a cancellation charge. My goal is to be flexible and supportive whilst running a sustainable practice.

This option is designed for those who find they take a while to settle in to the groove of a session and prefer more time to stay in the counselling space or for those who attend counselling less frequently.

Among Puffins is a part of the social enterprise Rough Patch Counselling, which provides low-cost therapy across Australia on a sliding scale from $70-$160 per session.
For this offering, you get to choose a session fee that feels appropriate to your circumstances.
